Calista Okoronkwo is a year older today, December 3. The award-winning actress took to her Instagram page to wish herself happy birthday in a lengthy post. She wrote:

Before the avalanche of birthday wishes start pouring in , let me wish myself a happy birthday
Chika Calista Adanma Priscy Okoronkwo… cheers to another year . You are such an awesome person , that it’s hard for anyone not to recognize it . It feels so good to be ME!
May God open my eyes to see all the opportunities he has set before me as I journey through life as an adult
Lord, I’m grateful for the priceless gift of life and good health, you have given me . Thank you also, for the wonderful people you have put in my life
I have learnt to love the sound of my feet walking away from things not meant for me.
I have learnt to be strong and focused, no matter what life throws my way .
I have learnt to always walk around ,believing there’s nothing I can’t accomplish.
The hottest part of getting older is that I’m also getting cooler , which makes me special , as this doesn’t happen to a lot of people.
Lord, I pray that you bless and lift me on every side. I hand over every facet of my life into your hands,Lord … TAKE CARE OF ME !
