Chris Brown Reacts To Rape Allegations In Paris, Says ‘This Is So Disrespectful And Is Against My Character And Morals’
Chris Brown, 29, has denied allegations that he raped a woman in Paris. The singer was detained and arrested in Paris, France on Monday following the incident which reportedly took place on 15 January. Chris has reacted to this and his message on Instagram is very clear. He wrote:
‘I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… ‘THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!! [sic].’
France’s Closer magazine which broke the news, have published the woman’s account of the incident, according to TMZ.
The woman claims to have met Brown last Tuesday at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel at around 10:30pm before they went to a nightclub together. The following morning, at around 4am, the “Look at Me Now” hitmaker alongside his friends, convinced her to join them at the hotel despite the fact she felt tired.
According to the unnamed woman, Brown allegedly followed her to the bathroom and ‘caught’ her by the right arm. The woman claims the R&B singer forced her to enter a dressing room before closing the door. She alleges the incident ‘lasted 25-30 minutes’.
The report describes the incident as ‘brutal and violent’. The woman also adds that she was also ‘abused’ by one of Brown’s friends as well as a bodyguard. Meanwhile, the singer’s girlfriend, Ammika Harris, was in the hotel room the entire time alongside 20 other people ‘hanging out’ and listening to music.
Following the singer’s arrest earlier this week, a prosecuting source said: ‘He is accused of a rape and is being held at the judicial police offices in the 1st arrondissement.
‘He was arrested with two others on Monday, and interviews and other enquiries are ongoing. The offence is said to have taken place on the night of 15 January this year.’
