A lot of people will not forget last year in a hurry. It was when 2020 shocked the world with an insatiable thirst for human lives as the COVID-19 pandemic left pain, hardship and a whole lot of drama worldwide.
In Nigeria, there was also the #EndSARS protests which the Nigerian youths embarked on to register their dissatisfaction with police brutality and bad governance in the country.
Even though the youths made their point clear, there were reports that men in uniform opened fire on unarmed peaceful protesters. Several images of blood-soaked flags circulated across social media with even the international community lending their voices towards the ‘movement’.
Eventually, the peaceful protest was hijacked by hoodlums who looted shops belonging to the people who had already been crying of hardship due to the lockdown.
In a new Instagram post to mark the new month February, 2021, Eniola Badmus prayed that all negativities of the past months will be replaced by positivities.
She wrote;
“This new month shall take back all the negativities of the past months and bestow upon us the abundance of positivities and make our life more fabulous than it was. I wish you the best in this new month.
#HappyNewMonth
#eniolabadmus”.
