Revenge: Hunter Richard Wesley Killed The Bear That Attacked Him
According to TMZ, hunter Richard Wesley killed the bear that attacked him. He went back for the black bear that attacked him believing that if it attacked him, it would attack others possibly his wife and kids. The risk would be high as they also spend time at the family’s campsite in ultra-rural Ontario.
Richard adds that the bear attack reminds him of “The Revenant.” Thankfully, he escaped with a bruise on the elbow.
“I am so happy after this confrontation with a black bear during our spring hunt,” he wrote. “Genuinely happy that this was a non fatal or tragic outcome. Proving that the black bear is a wild and unpredictable animal. Again so happy with the outcome.”
Footage of the encounter starts by showing the black bear about 100 feet away, it sees Richard Wesley, charges at him, but it ended up tragically for the wild beast.
