When you want to start a new business, it could be difficult to raise money. Yes, there are banks but not everyone may be in a position to be given loans.
However, friends and family can help in one way or the other to support your business. For this to happen, they will have to trust you to invest in you, according to Mary Remmy Njoku.
You must have noted that sometimes, people that are close to you and are able to support your business are unwilling to help. Yes, in some instances, there are really petty friends and relatives who could see you as competition or they just don’t want you to grow financially.
This isn’t always so as some do not help relatives or friends because they do not have sufficient belief in the person. That’s not to say they wouldn’t listen to you or even try to find alternatives other than themselves to help invest in you.
In a recent Instagram post, Mary Remmy Njoku even went further to say those who refused to help you shouldn’t be blamed for not supporting you.
Read her post below.
“Your friends and family will listen to you because they like you or they have to. But they will invest in you only if they trust you. So stop blaming them for not supporting you, if you were in their shoes, you wouldn’t bet your hard earned money on YOU, would you? 😉
Integrity”.
